YOUR HELP IS NEEDED TO PROTECT OUR WATER SUPPLY

Two companies have filed for permits to drill 42 commercial water wells into the same aquifer your drinking water comes from. These 42 wells are estimated to pull more water from our aquifer than both Cherokee and Anderson Counties combined, and then be used for commercial purposes. They are going to sell our drinking water out from under us. We must unite to stop the theft of our water supply. Immediate action is needed, because the Neches and Trinity Valley Groundwater Conservation District meets Wednesday, June 18, 2025. We need your signature and contact information to join the Water Board in objecting to the granting of these permits. Local governmental authorities are working with us on this, and we will continue to share information as we have it. We cannot stress enough, how important your immediate help is.
